Terms of Sale
The ground rules for buying from Yellowstone Retail. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. We’ve kept them as plain as the rest of the shop.

Who we are
Yellowstone Retail is an independent store selling everyday goods online. We’re not affiliated with Yellowstone National Park or the U.S. National Park Service.
Orders
You place an order at checkout; no card is taken there. Within one business day we check stock and email a secure payment link for the total shown at checkout, shipping included. Your order is confirmed once you’ve paid. If something has sold out, we’ll tell you, and you won’t be charged for it.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added where it applies and shown on the payment link before you pay. The link holds your total for seven days. Payment is taken by our payment provider; we never see your full card number. If we ever list a price in error, we’ll let you know before you pay, and you can decide whether to go ahead.
Shipping
We ship within the United States. Costs, timing and the rest are on our Shipping & returns page. Once your parcel is delivered, it’s yours, along with the responsibility for it.
Returns and refunds
You can return most items within 30 days of delivery. The details, and what happens if something arrives damaged or fails in normal use, are on the Shipping & returns page.
Product descriptions
We describe and draw our products as accurately as we can. Natural materials like wool, leather, linen and beeswax vary a little from piece to piece, and that variation isn’t a defect.
Using things safely
Follow the care and safety notes that come with each product. Cast iron and enamelware get hot; candles and lanterns shouldn’t be left unattended; small parts belong out of reach of small children.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you order applies to that order.
